And how has nobody noticed that we look exactly the same?
Inspired by Dostoyevsky’s psychological thriller, THE DOUBLE is an immersive theater experience set inside a real office floor — left abandoned after a mysterious incident, and designed in filmic detail.
You choose how to experience the story: sit at a desk and watch depositions on glitching monitors, explore the floor and sift through scattered documents, or peer into a glass-walled conference room where live performers move just out of reach.
There’s no stage, just the office. Over 90 minutes, choose your own way of experiencing the story as the narrative unfolds around you. Don’t miss this world premiere production from international company Witness.

Where is THE DOUBLE?
THE DOUBLE is found in a vacant office on the second floor above LIT Immersive, located at 1000 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134.
What makes THE DOUBLE immersive?
Audiences are invited to experience the show as they wish — if you wish to sit at your desk and watch, you may, or you can explore the office and interact with the set as the narrative unfolds.
Is there audience participation?
No. Though you’ll have the freedom to wander and explore the space, you won’t participate in the show or interact with performers.
What is the run time?
The run time is 90 minutes.
Is the performance ADA accessible?
Yes. Please note any accessibility needs when you check out or by emailing boxoffice@witnessimmersive.com so we can make sure we’re prepared for you to join us.

Can I refund or exchange my tickets?
We’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges. If you’d like to give your tickets to a friend, they should simply give your name at the door.
Will THE DOUBLE add performances?
All of our planned shows are listed at our ticketing link. Space is extremely limited and we suggest booking early to avoid sold out performances. Should there be any changes to the schedule, you can follow us on Instagram for updates.
